Coming Soon To Theaters: New Movies To See This November

This November, a bunch of great new movies are hitting the big screen and it’s sure to be another good month at the box office with highly-anticipated sequels to “The Hunger Games,” “Horrible Bosses” and more being released.

Here are the new movies coming to theaters this November that you have to see.

“Interstellar.” This sci-fi adventure movie is directed and co-written by Christopher Nolan (“The Dark Knight” trilogy, “Inception”) and features an all-star cast.

The premise of the movie is that a bunch of explorers who have discovered a wormhole use it to transcend the boundaries of human space travel and master the extensive distances associated with an interstellar expedition in order to save mankind and planet Earth.

The film looks like it’ll be a visual masterpiece and at 169 minutes long, will definitely give viewers more bang for their buck.

“Interstellar” hits theaters on November 7. The movie stars Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain and Michael Caine.

“Dumb and Dumber To.” This comedy sequel to the 1994 movie ”Dumb and Dumber” picks up 20 years after the first film. The dimwits set out on another adventure, this time to find one of their long-lost kids in order to hopefully get a new kidney.

The trailer, which premiered on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” has already garnered over 24.6 million views since being uploaded in June.

“Dumb and Dumber To stars Jim Carrey, Jeff Daniels, Laurie Holden and Kathleen Turner and is coming to theaters on November 14.

“Foxcatcher.” – This biographical sports drama is based on the true story of Olympic wrestler Mike Schultz and how his relationship with sponsor John du Pont and his brother Dave Schultz led to improbable circumstances.

The film won the director, Bennett Miller, the Best Director Award at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival and has already garnered critical acclaim for the main actors’ performances.

“Foxcatcher” stars Steve Carell, Channing Tatum and Mark Ruffalo and will be released in theaters on November 14.

“The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1.” The highly anticipated third movie in “The Hunger Games” series is sure to break box office records this November.

Mockingjay Part 1” picks up where the second film “Catching Fire” left off, with the games being destroyed forever by Katniss and friends. Now, Katniss is back in District 13 and with the help of her friends, has to save Peeta from President Snow and fight for freedom alongside the nation she’s inspired.

The previous movies had opening weekends that grossed over $150 million and this latest installment looks like it’ll join their ranks and also be the biggest debut of the year so far.

According to Fandango, “Mockingjay Part 1″ has also already sold more first-day advance tickets than any other film in 2014.

The movie stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Julianne Moore and the late Philip Seymour Hoffman and will hit theaters November 21.

“Horrible Bosses 2.” This comedy sequel to 2011′s hilarious “Horrible Bosses” finds Nick, Dale and Kurt trying to start their own business while a shrewd investor attempts to take them down.

Backed into a corner, the three guys decide to kidnap the investor’s son and ransom him for the money needed to regain control over their business.

“Horrible Bosses 2″ stars Jason Bateman, Charlie Day, Jason Sudeikis, Jennifer Aniston, Jamie Foxx, Chris Pine and Christoph Waltz and hits theaters on November 26.

“Penguins of Madagascar.” This animated comedy adventure movie follows the penguins from the “Madagascar” movies and is a perfect movie to see if you’re home for Thanksgiving with your family.

The film takes place right after the events of “Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted” and follows the four penguins on their own adventure.

The penguins have been leading a double life as super spies and now are joining forces with an undercover organization to take down a villainous octopus who is out to destroy the world.

“Penguins of Madagascar” features the voices of Tom McGrath, Chris Miller, Christopher Knights, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Ken Jeong and hits theaters November 26.

So mark your calendars for these awesome new movies coming to theaters this November — you won’t want to miss them!
