Job Description
Join our team at Fox Cities YMCA Swim Team as a Swim Instructor and take the lead in creating engaging swimming programs for children of all ages and skill levels. We are seeking a motivated individual from with a genuine love for swimming and the ability to inspire young swimmers in Appleton, WI.
Responsibilities:
Provide swim instruction to students of all ages and skill levels
Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all students
Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and guidance as needed
Requirements:
Experience working with students of all ages and abilities, preferably in an educational or instructional setting
Strong swimming skills and knowledge of various swim strokes and techniques
Strong background in water safety and survival skills
CPR & First Aid Certified (infant, child & adult)
Excellent communication, organizational, time management and creative teaching skills
Strong behavior management skills, with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally
Experience in childcare or sports coaching is beneficial
A love and passion for swimming and children!
