Fox Valley Wave Swim Team Inc is looking for Summer Swim Instructors in Appleton, WI

As a Swim Instructor at Fox Valley Wave Swim Team Inc, you will lead swimming programs and provide both individual and group lessons designed for children of different ages and skill levels. This position is perfect for students who are passionate about swimming, possess strong communication skills, and have the ability to motivate young swimmers while fostering a love and respect for the water. We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Swim Instructor to join our team and support our Fox Valley Wave Swim Team Inc location in Appleton, WI.

Responsibilities
Provide swim instruction to students of all ages and skill levels
Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all students
Monitor and assess student progress, offering feedback and guidance as necessary

Requirements
Experience working with students of various ages and abilities, particularly in an educational or instructional setting
Proficient swimming skills and knowledge of different swim strokes and techniques
Strong background in water safety and survival skills
CPR & First Aid Certified (infant, child & adult)
Excellent communication, organizational, time management, and creative teaching skills
Effective behavior management skills, capable of handling challenging situations calmly and professionally
Experience in childcare or sports coaching is advantageous, showcasing an understanding of working with children in a structured environment
Enthusiasm for swimming and working with children
