Job Description
As a Swim Instructor at New Richmond Area Tiger Sharks, you will lead swimming programs and provide tailored individual and group lessons for children of all ages and skill levels. This position is perfect for students with a deep love for swimming, strong communication skills, and the ability to inspire young swimmers to enjoy and respect the water. We are currently seeking a motivated Swim Instructor to join our team in New Richmond, WI.
Responsibilities
• Provide swim instruction to students of all ages and skill levels
• Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all students
• Monitor and assess student progress, offering feedback and guidance as needed
Requirements
• Experience working with students of all ages and abilities, preferably in an educational or instructional setting
• Strong swimming skills and knowledge of various strokes and techniques
• Strong background in water safety and survival skills
• CPR & First Aid Certified (infant, child & adult)
• Excellent communication, organizational, time management, and creative teaching skills
• Strong behavior management skills to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally
• Experience in childcare or sports coaching is beneficial
• Passion for swimming and working with children
