Job Description
Are you passionate about swimming and enjoy working with children? We are currently seeking a Swim Instructor for Green Bay YMCA in Green Bay, WI. This role involves leading swimming programs and providing lessons to children of different ages and skill levels. Ideal for students, this position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire young swimmers.
Responsibilities
• Provide swim instruction tailored to students of varying ages and skill levels
• Maintain a safe and positive learning environment
• Assess student progress and offer feedback
Requirements
• Experience working with students, preferably in educational or instructional settings
• Proficient in various swim strokes and techniques
• Knowledge of water safety and CPR & First Aid certification
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Ability to manage behavior and handle challenging situations calmly
• Experience in childcare or sports coaching is a plus
• Passion for swimming and working with children
